Thanks for taking the time to visit our Web site and learn more about KCTS 9. You’ll find yourself well-rewarded, as we have a full lineup of programs and activities that will inform, involve and inspire you.
Last year, one of several major accomplishments at the station was launching KCTS 9 V-me, a Spanish-language public television service that provides 40 hours per week of educational children's programming, plus public affairs, lifestyle and entertainment programming. The channel is in use by schools and families across the state. KCTS 9 V-me is just one of our four digital channels. KCTS 9 HD, KCTS 9 Create and KCTS 9 DT all provide high-quality public television programming 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. While KCTS 9 has been preparing for the digital transition for over a decade, many of our viewers still view us over the air on older television sets that will no longer work after February 17, 2009, when all analog broadcast ceases.
