About Us is an independent filmmaker showcase highlighting topics and experiences that are distinctive to our region. The collection of films in the series represents a range of work that includes documentaries, historical pieces and even a comical look at one of this region’s more famous creatures.

It is the local spirit and nature of these films that unites them as a series. The stories are home grown and the films ‘hand-made,’ each coming from independent filmmakers with a personal connection to our region. These are local stories that would not normally find their way to a television audience, and it is the unique, individual touch of the filmmaker that brings forward the relevance of each subject.
